We are Greg and Cathie and we live on the Central Coast of NSW. We are retired now and enjoy having the dogs in our retirement. I have learned new skills thanks to the dogs.
I started work with Gia, my first Lagotto and she was a most willing participant in my endeavours; she loved to play ball and retrieve and this was her favourite reward for working. She has gone on to have many titles after her name and I have enjoyed such a wonderful time with this beautiful girl.
Vinnie came to me as an older dog, he has excelled in the show ring and was the first Lagotto to hold a NZ/AU Championship. He has gone on now to also hold a Neuter Championship, he was the first Lagotto in Australia to hold these three titles.
Arrakis comes from my dear friends Elizabeth and Joachim Lange of Lagottostar. He is a divine boy with the most beautiful temperament and in a very short time has achieved his Australian Championship and is now still showing. It is a pleasure to have him as our stud dog as he is a lovely gentle boy and is passing this temperament on to our litters.
Trix is now retired from mummy duties and is getting back into her obedience work and agility, we were very lucky to have her from Lagottostar's first litter from their import stud dog Lapinlumon Naldo and honoured to give a home to their pick bitch from that litter and Trix has given us 3 beautiful OttogaL litters of all colours but the most important thing wonderful family pets.
Jelly - oh what can we say about Jelly she is our latest addition to the family and she is full of beans - Jelly Beans. She is a Dream of a girl from our Dream litter so named as it matched our lovely Trix for her last litter with a handsome man Alfie the leading Lagotto in Australia and from the wonderful Kan Trace Kennel in Croatia - our first girl Gia was from these lines as is Arrakis and so it was always a Dream to have our OttogaL lines go back to these beginnings.
We also had Nutella Bella join us who is just the most delightful pup and is having a great time playing with Jelly and getting into mischief - would you think that face would get into mischief........oh yes ....written all over her.
Since I had all these non-shed dogs I decided that I needed to learn how to groom them. This was another skill I would not have undertaken if it were not for the dogs - so again thank you to the team for giving me another opportunity to learn a new skill, which I love doing.
