OTTOGAL POP GUN
OTTOGAL LOLLY POP
OTTOGAL PADDLE POP
OTTOGAL COCO POP
Not long to go now - the Poppets are off for their first needles and their microchips on Wednesday and a first visit to the vet. Getting big kids now they have access to the outside yard but not too often last week as we have been under seige by the weather - mother nature took over from our you Tube videos which we use to get the pups used to thunder storms!!!!
We have been having visitors and the pups have been playing with their new owners. New things added to our environment - some wobble boards some funny spikey things that feel funny under our feet and some new toys - they were great. Aunty Jelly did some babysitting but she fell asleep on the job.
Big changes for our Poppets this week - they relocated to larger quarters and have have been outside for the first time . They have access to the outside deck which is a nice size to play in and then access to the small garden yard which they haven't been in yet due to the weather which we are very grateful of but will be nice when it dries out a bit. Cousin Guinness is loving having some puppy company - shows you how quickly they grow - Guinness is from our Irish Tan litter and he is just 2 days shy of 7 months old. Its actually getting harder to take photos of them these days as they dont stay still and all I am getting is blur so probably video is a quicker way to see them these days.
All the puppies will take home their own special little grey puppy - these are Drooley Dogs which you can stuff with clothing - yours when they get used to their families so you can stuff an old T shirt or something into it when you have to leave them. We will put in a blanket which we have used in their bedding which will smell of brothers and sisters and mum of course for you all to take home. We will show you what the pups will go home with when you come for your visit. For those unable to come we will take some photos and send them to you.
Half way there for our puppy parents - bet it is going slowly for you - hope the photos help seeing them getting bigger. They have started with one meal a day as from Sunday and they are doing well with their little taste of food and all tolerating it well.
Wow how quick are these weeks going - probably nor for our parent families but The Poppets are growing fast - they are all up and around seeing and hearing. They have started their toilet training and so sorry for some of the pee pads in the photos but it does show that they are using them and doing well. They have started their noise sensitivity with garbage trucks, children playing, thunder storms and they have some "strange" object in their whelping box daily now. they don't seem to mind but poor Poppy has had a bit of an objection from time to time. All the pups have collars on them now - just little velcro ones that can be adjusted easily. They have colour coded proper collars and leads that will go home with them. Gunny has the Blue collar of course - Coco in the Orange collar - Addy in the yellow (she has always had this colour on) and Lolly in the Green collar.
Puppies are growing like weeks and have all now reached over a Kilo in weight. Some of them have eyes open and are all starting to move around and are starting to interact with each other. The walking will still take some practise but they do now know they have four legs. As you can see Poppy is still keeping very close eye on these little ones.
